Odour Control Systems

Activated Carbon Filters

Carbon filters phenomenal absorbent capacity has been in use as a purifying agent for air and are suitable for a wide range of odour control & volatile organic compounds abatement applications including Kitchen Extract Systems, Sewage Treatment Plants, Abattoirs, Office Air Intake Systems, Airports, Museums & Galleries.
Carbon filters will only remove Odour from the air when the humidity is below 70% and temperature is also below 80°C.
It should be of no surprise that charcoal is an age-old remedy for managing odors

Activated Carbon Product Range:

- Coal based pellet impregnated with KI
- Coal based pellet impregnated with KOH (4/6mm only)
- Coconut Shell based granular non-impregnated (>50%CTC)
- Coal based pellet impregnated with CuO
- Coal based pellet impregnated with H3PO4
- Coal based pellet impregnated for Formaldehyde
- Coal based granular non impregnated (>50% CTC)
- Coal based pellet non-impregnated (>60%CTC)
- Acid washed coconut shell granular non-impregnated (>50%CTC)

Ozone Generators

Ozone Generators are just that, they generate the gas ozone which is extremely useful for purifying the air and removing odors. Ozone is sometimes called "activated oxygen".
It contains three atoms of oxygen, O3, rather than the two atoms we normally breathe. The life cycle of ozone is generation, oxidation, and return to oxygen. Ozone is labeled as an unstable gas, which means soon after it is generated the third atom of oxygen wants to break away from the other two as soon as possible. It does this by oxidation. It finds a microscopic odor causing particle, and destroys it. What left is pure oxygen O2, and the remnants of the oxidation process by the third atom which is harmless hydrogen, and CO2.

Ionizer

Negative ions attract certain types of molecules because of their negative charge. For example, Odor bearing molecules from the cigarette smoke, aerosol spray and car fumes become attracted to the negatively charged ions. Eventually, many of these particles cluster around the ion, weighing it down. When the ion becomes too heavy, it falls to the ground. In this way, an air ionizer cleans the air. In addition, our immune systems struggle to process very small particles. Because small particles cluster around ions, air ionizers also enable our immune systems to process the air we breathe more easily.
